Hurghada University is a public university on Egypt's Red Sea coast, created as an independent university by a 2024 Prime Ministerial decree after operating as the Hurghada branch of South Valley University, whose local Faculty of Education dates back to 1995. It currently has faculties of Education, Tourism and Hotels, Al-Alsun (Languages), Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and a new Faculty of Science that received its first students in 2025/2026.
