OVERVIEW · Established on April 29, 2006 under Presidential Decree No. 129 , Kafrelsheikh University is one of Egypt’s newly created universities. It was a response to the Egypt’s SDGs, tapping into human and material resources. It came also to address the growing need to expand higher education capacity to admit high and technical school graduates, while following an expansion policy across public universities. · Historically, the origins of the public institution are traceable to Kafrelsheikh -based Higher Farming Institute, which was created in 1957 .
