Cairo National University is the national (ahliya) university of Cairo University, created by Presidential Decree No. 245 of 2025 and located in 6th of October City on the Dahshur link road. It is organised as a 'programme-based' university in which each bachelor's programme has its own management board, with programmes designed in partnership with international universities. Its programme list spans engineering, computing and AI, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, veterinary medicine, science, commerce, media, economics and political science, and early-childhood education.
