East Port Said National University is a national (ahliya) university created by Presidential Decree 424 of 2022 in Salam Misr City, east of Port Said. It has seven faculties — medicine, engineering, pharmacy, computer science and information technology, applied health sciences technology, business sciences and arts — offering about 15 bachelor's programmes, with the arts and applied health faculties marked as opening later. The medicine programme runs on the ECTS credit system and is taught in English.
