How fees work in Egypt
International students pay the fees set for non-Egyptian nationals, charged in US dollars and different from what Egyptian students pay. Public and national universities apply the international-student rates set for each university and faculty, while private universities and branch campuses set their own. The Ministry's admission portal also charges service fees that are not refunded, a one-time registration fee usually applies on first enrolment, and an older secondary certificate can add a fee for each year since it was issued. Some nationalities have had reduced public-university rates, so check the current rules before relying on a quoted figure.
